At more than 1 am on January 18, a falling into the sea in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, three mainland tourists nearby quickly launched rescue operations, threw down the life buoy, called the police and looked for help nearby. A few minutes later, the stormtrooper police and fire "frogmen" have arrived at the scene to rescue the female victim and sent to the hospital for treatment.

The three young people who rescued people are all juniors from Shenzhen University, two of whom are students of our college. At the time of the incident, they were waiting for the car to return to the deep. Witnessing the sudden desperate jump of the female victim they acted quickly, resulting in a successful emergency rescue.

The three students are He Jinmiao from the College of Civil and Transportation Engineering (Grade 2021), Wen Jianbin from the College of Civil and Transportation Engineering (grade 2021) and Wang Haolin from the College of Electronic and Information Engineering (grade 2021).

He Jinmiao said that he was very pleased and happy about the successful rescue of the parties, but also thanks to the quick response of the police and other people came to help, it is the efforts of all of us to save a fresh life. Looking back now, in the tense situation at that time, the only idea in my mind was to quickly rescue people, and I did not think so much. In the circumstances, they believed that no matter who would help them, they just did what their heart wanted and should have done, and the satisfaction they obtained was unprecedented. This incident also deeply touched him. I hope that all of us can keep loving and sentient to this beautiful world. There is always something good to look forward to in this world.

Wen Jianbin said that the first time to experience this kind of thing, very glad that in the end everyone is safe. Seeing the girls rescued, the hanging heart finally put down.

In the face of danger, stand up. Do good deeds, warm the world. Guard the light of life, transfer positive energy. Infinite love, worthy of praise!
